Consequences Of Change

When one of us changes our light
Cellular structures burning bright
We can all garnishee the light;
We can make our effervescence Insight
A more holy light;
And when we do that in the instance of a respite
We can no longer harm each other in our collective night.
Let’s be true to our internal Guiding Light.
And when we can move more resistance and pain out of our darkness of night
In the cellular capacity of our light
We will be given a more genuine Insight
Into the layers that burn so bright
Of our corporeal structures, and our internal sight
Will be given a choice of whether to take flight
Or corrugate our own internal night
Into the capillaries of light;
We are the bastion of doing whatever we choose as right!
So choose carefully your change
As it may inflict grave exchange
And we will never be the same.
It goes against some peoples’ grain.
But we must never be ashamed.
Leave behind the pain
And the consequences of change
Will never inhibit our frame.

Whatever Can We Talk About?

My son said to me the other day
“We really don’t have anything of interest to say
To each other”, so why, pray,
Do we often talk about each other in this way?
When we really only have to be able to say
“How was your day?”
Or “How was your fun evening away?”
Or “Why can we never get along better today?”
It is a choice
Contemplated in only one voice
When all we have to do is rejoice
In the nonsense of our voice.
Because as we share
And as we care
We can certainly stare
At all of the anxiety there
And let it go without a care.
It is all in what we are attached to, in what direction we stare;
We could abysmally berate each other there
But wouldn’t it rather be beneficial if we just cared
For each other anywhere?
It is the loss of voice
Which gives us no choice
For if we could rejoice
We would forever be called in just One Voice
Of Love;
And determination can bring us on a Higher wing
To finally extend and fling
A wonderful life
Of resolved and metered strife.
It is a positronic life
To give it no strife;
It is an animal with no life;
We are borne without strife
Let it go and live your life!

Today’s Quote

The world’s longest married couple has this to say about marriage:

“In the past people used to listen. Now I don’t think people take the time to listen to each other properly. People seem too busy today with work, TV and other stuff going on around them,” he advises.

“Relationships are about understanding one another and listening to concerns and problems, so my advice to men and women is to listen to their partners, show interest in what they are saying and help them overcome any worries or problems they are going through.”
