Beautiful Lives

Life is a loss
If we continue to toss
Our lives away
Everyday.
We can live our lives
In occupational drives
Or subsistence lies
But all our despise
Is forever a disguise
That we whet
And never get,
For we forward our spies
To consistency lies
And forever wise
We cannot open our eyes
To the widening guise
That our own lives
Are part and parcel of the new skies!
We realize
That our seldom skies
Are really wise!
Lift your eyes!
Become wise!
It is more beautiful today
To go our way
Then to complacently say
That we could never live another day
This way!
